Hi, I’m Ruth, the baker behind Just Because Buttercream Cakes.

What started as a simple gift over 40 years ago has slowly grown into a cottage home business.

Over the years, I’ve made cakes for family and friends, stepping in and out of baking as life unfolded—raising kids, working the farm, and everything in between.

Now, with the kids grown and the farm finding its rhythm, I’ve found my way back to decorating again… and back to bringing a little joy to your table.
