FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
After years of hiring part time help we are currently exploring the idea of just having one full time and one part time employee. The work description for the part time shift is below.
The full time position would require both the am and pm milkings and a weekend rotation. The actual days off would depend on the needs of the full time employee, the owners, and part time help.
Currently we do chores from 6-10 am & 4:30-8:30. We are open to adjusting those for the right candidate.
Work responsibilities include but are not limited to...
- Loading wheelbarrows and feeding hay.
- Scraping barn walk with metal scraper
- Cleaning under and behind cows in their stalls
- Carrying a 50# bag of lime and applying it to the barn floor with a spreader
- Filling sawdust cart/carts and bedding cows with a shovel
- Carrying milking units, setting up parlor
- Fetching cows, cleaning sand stalls
- Milking
- Moving the milking units back to the milk house and scraping down the parlor.
There is also the possibility of other chores and some extra limited hours depending on the skills of the employee.
Examples of these would be pressure washing the parlor and general cleaning, moving cattle around, or even assisting with chopping by merging hay or unloading wagons of silage.

PART TIME EMPLOYMENT:
Are you looking for some extra income a couple nights a week? Or are a student looking for a great opportunity to learn work skills?
We currently offer 4 hour shifts, 6 am - 10 am & 4:30 pm - 8:30pm. Some individuals work one shift a week and then we have others that work multiples.
We pay $60 per shift cash and pay bi weekly.
You will be expected to get the following completed within that 4 hour window of time.
